Professor Peter Church OAM - Chairman

Peter Church is an international lawyer and corporate adviser who has lived and worked in the South East Asian region for more than 35 years and is based in Singapore. Peter advises a varied group of major international companies in relation to their Asian investment and trading activities. He was for many years President of the Australia Indonesia Business Council and sat on numerous Australian Federal Government Boards, such as the Trade Policy Advisory Committee. Lindley Edwards - AFG VG Group CEO

Lindley Edwards is a specialist adviser in merger, acquisition, divestments, fund raising, strategic consulting and licensing for growth in public and private companies.

She has a track record of successful advising to private and public companies. Previously Lindley was a State Manager (Vice-President) with Citibank. Prior to this position she spent nine years with Macquarie Bank and was an Associate Director with the Corporate Banking Division. Lindley has also worked on a secondment basis for Boston Consulting Group and for the Victorian State Government Project.

Glen Robinson - Director and Head of Asia Advisory

Glen Robinson has spent the last 21 years focussing on the establishment and development of cross border alliances, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the manufacturing, processing and distribution areas, and particularly targeted to Asia.

These corporate advisory activities are based on more than 20 years' experience in management consultancy, and he has worked with a wide range of industries from agriculture, government through to manufacturing, distribution and service industries. He initially gained his Asian experience as chief executive officer for the Asian subsidiaries and joint ventures of a major international manufacturing and marketing organisation.


Michael Fay - Executive Director Head of Education Services

Michael Fay is an international education specialist and regional education adviser who is based in Sydney and travels widely in South and South East Asia on behalf of his clients. Michael advises a range of international education institutions, associations, media groups and peak bodies in relation to Asian education activities.

He has a regional specialisation on India, Indonesia and the ASEAN region and is on the NSW Committee of the Australia Indonesia Business Council (AIBC). He has also been a Board member of the National ELT Accreditation Scheme (NEAS) and is a Gold Friend of the Duke of Edinburgh Award/The International Award for Young People.


Elizabeth Bergin - Associate Director

Elizabeth Bergin is a former lawyer in the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department and has worked for the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Australia's Foreign Affairs Department on its aid program with Indonesia. Mrs Sinodinos has helped a number of Australian businesses to develop their market share, and to navigate export markets, in particular into the Asian region.


Graham Libbesson - Special Advisor - IT & T Resources

Graham Libbesson has commerce and law degrees. He has been a chartered accountant for over 30 years. He was senior tax partner and managing partner at the old PKF Sydney.

For the last 16 years he has been a director of and/or advisor to, and shareholder in, various private and listed resources, IT and technology companies. He has been a director of a number of listed and unlisted IT companies; mining/exploration companies, wealth sector service/software; outsourced accounting. The companies have had international operations. He has been Chairman and member of a number of audit committees.


Richard Polkinghorne - Associate Director - Property

Richard Polkinghorne is AFG's Special Advisor - Property and brings to AFG a unique blend of commercial, financial and technical knowledge gained in over twenty years working in property development and delivery.

He has successfully delivered a wide range of projects in Australia, UK, Asia and the Middle East including hotels, residential, schools, transport facilities, stadiums, commercial and industrial projects. Richard has been Design/Development Manager of the Sydney Superdome, Manager for Property and Social Infrastructure at Abigroup, General Manager for Development at Dubai Festival City and Country Manager/Project Director of Medini Iskandar in Malaysia


John P Weste - Special Advisor - IT & T, Financial Services, Property and Health

John is a business executive, company director, management consultant, and corporate advisor with over 25 years hands-on expertise in developing, designing and executing corporate development and change programs across a diverse portfolio of global, regional, and local business and government entities.

He has built his highly successful career based on strong leadership capacity and capability, innovation and creativity, and excellent people management and communication skills, coupled with deep functional expertise in strategy, operations, capital management, human resources, and technology.
