Sherman is a multi-disciplinary strategic advisor, investor and entrepreneur. He has over 25 years of strategy, investment, banking and advisory experience. He has held senior appointments in global strategy, marketing, human capital and products with a range of international brands, such as Citigroup, HSBC, J.P Morgan and Westpac. He personally advises a number of Asian private family wealth offices, governments, DeepTech investment groups, one of Southeast Asia’s largest telecommunications company and one of the world’s largest vertically integrated multi segment agri-food conglomerates (Charoen Pokphand Group). More recently, he has been involved in Fintech, Health, AI, Food Tech, Big Data and Renewable Energy sectors.
Sherman is also passionate about innovation, diversity and mentoring. Sherman is an innovation mentor for the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Defence Science and Technology (DST) and industry mentor for Griffith University. Some of the countries where he has worked and trained include Singapore, England, Ireland, United States and Australia. Sherman’s academic background is in the areas of human resource management, business, economics and psychology. He is a graduate of Asialink’s Leaders’ Program and a patron of The Head Foundation and Outback Academy.
